      Lawrence Margolis, a matriculant of King David Linksfield has earned his fame as an effective Hebrew Language instructor at both beginner and advanced levels. He has achieved a BA Social work/psychology from Wits, was a function co-ordinator and fund-raiser with Ohr Somayach and now teaches privately. Lawrence’s fun yet comprehensive approach to Hebrew Language and Literature has made his course a popular choice for our students.

      Rebbetzin Tali Kagan matriculated from Yeshiva College in 2004, and after MTA made aliyah. She married Rabbi Shmuli Kagan and spent 4 more years in Israel, during which she studied at Michlelet Hertzog for 2 years as well as a Coaching course at The Jerusalem Coaching Institute. She learnt part time at Nishmat Ladies Seminary and with Shani Taragin at Matan Ladies Seminary. As a couple the Kagans were a part of Yeshiva University Kollel in Israel. Today they run the Mizrachi Young Adults Shul, Or Zarua. Tali is currently teaching at Yeshiva College Girls High School.

      Warren Sher studied in Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) in 2001/2. He is qualified as an Electrical Engineer, Project Manager and Jewish Studies Teacher. He currently works for the Mizrachi / Yeshiva College community and is responsible for overseeing the communal fundraising initiatives.

      Rebbetzin Lipschitz is one of the Rebbetzins at Mizrachi Shul, and a motivational speaker and teacher.  She is a Marriage councillor and is involved with Yad Ezar in counselling Marriage prepare and Marriage Education (Taharat hamishpacha). Rebbetzin Lipschitz is a mother of five children.

      Rabbi Bookatz studied for 5 and a half years under Rabbi Goldfein z”l and continued to study for a further 6 years at the Ohr Somayach Kollel under the tutelage of Rabbi Auerbach and received Smicha from Rav Zalman Nechemiah Goldberg in Israel. His teaching career began at KD Victory Park where as the Head of the Jewish Studies Department in the Primary School. Rabbi Bookatz is currently the Rabbi of the Tichon Program at Yeshiva College Boys’ High school.

      Ilana Stein has always had a love for Tanach, ever since she first competed in the Bible Quiz in Yeshiva Primary School. She studied on Bnei Akiva’s MTA programme, and at Nishmat (Centre for Advanced Torah Study for Women) in Jerusalem. She has a degree in Nature Conservation and a BA in English and her day job is being a writer/editor for Wilderness Safaris, a conservation ecotourism company in Johannesburg.
